THE GOOD SHEPHERD
- The Parable of the Good Shepherd (John 10) is presented with two-dimensional figures, inviting the child to move the Shepherd and the sheep, fostering a deeply personal connection.
LIFE OF CHRIST- The Infancy Narratives (Annunciation, Visitation, Nativity, Epiphany, Presentation in the Temple) are presented in simple, direct narratives with three-dimensional figures. Children prepare the altar for the Mass and the different liturgical colors of the year.
LITURGY & PRAYER- Children explore the elements of the Mass using a small model altar. They learn the names and seasons of the vestments and liturgical colors. Practical life works (pouring, sweeping, polishing) prepare them for worship while also helping with their human and physical development.
KINGDOM PARABLES- Simple parables like the Mustard Seed, Hidden Treasure, and Precious Pearl are offered to reveal the precious and mysterious nature of the Kingdom of God.
BAPTISM- A simple presentation of the objects used in Baptism (water, oil, white garment, candle) helps them understand their own initiation into the Church.
