Dear Parents,
Thank you for stopping by to look around the Religious Education process at St. Isaac Jogues Parish. Whether you have been part of the program for a while, or are brand new to the parish, I welcome you to explore and let me know if you have any questions. Please also be sure to check the Religious Education Calendar under the calendars tab for important dates and information.
Our after-school program is just that. After school. Students meet one day per week from September - May for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Be sure to check out our curriculum by clicking here.
Our students learn by first having an encounter with Jesus, then growing with him, and finally witnessing to others. Our catechists continue to grow in their own faith by actively and regularly participating in workshops, in-services, and classes to become the best they can be in sharing their Love of Jesus with our kids. In addition, religion is not just another class the students attend after being in school all day, but rather an opportunity to meet Jesus through real-life relevant experiences and truly know how much he loves them and wants them to love and share his story with others. This process began at Baptism, our paths crossed today, and our journey will continue when our time together has passed.
If your child desires Baptism, First Eucharist, or Confirmation please be sure to read the section on Sacraments to better understand the process.
I look forward to walking alongside your family as we together work together to help shape disciples of Jesus Christ.
In the Potter's Grip,

Our goal is to equip people for this journey and help them live as Disciples of Christ. We serve the entire SIJ parish family. Our goal is to offer ongoing opportunities for all to deepen their faith through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to offer everyone an opportunity to encounter the Lord, grow as his disciple, and be a witness to His love.
